Bio
Laura is a partner and the Attorney Director at STG Divorce Law, where she focuses on all areas of divorce and family law. Laura is committed to offering clients compassion and empathy while determining the individual needs of each specific client in order to best formulate an effective strategy. Laura is an experienced litigator, and also a trained mediator and collaborative attorney, having been involved in contested cases and trials, and having resolved many cases collaboratively and cooperatively in order to settle matters cost-effectively.
Laura received her law degree with a certificate in family law from DePaul University College of Law, where she also served as Associate Citation Editor on the Journal for Social Justice. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Laura has been selected as an Illinois Emerging Lawyer and an Illinois Rising Star by Super Lawyers for five consecutive years, a distinction earned by fewer than 2.5% of attorneys in Illinois. Laura practices in Chicago and all surrounding suburban counties. She resides with her family in Park Ridge.
